Welcome to Rick Griffin’s online home. You’ve arrived at the blog. This space is imagined as an online source of ideas the curious visitor can explore at their leisure, so it’s listed as Blog: Inspiration & News on the site menu.

You’ll find features, quotes and picture galleries on home-making, landscaping and Rick’s philosophy of design. Over the next few months there will be more sneak peeks into Rick and Shirley’s indoor and outdoor living areas. Rick describes the house as southern by design, with elements of two of his favorite decorative styles: English and Arts and Crafts. The garden? It’s been designated a gallimaufry by some, though Rick might call it a carnival. It’s designed for living, relaxing and hosting guests.

Any good garden is never finished, always changing – Rick’s private garden, more than most, as he loves to try out new ideas. This website is a work in progress too. Please use the menus and drop down boxes to browse around for subjects that interest you.
